DR. GEORGE VARGHESE

MBBS, MS (ENT), DLO Consultant – ENT surgeon

Dr. George Varghese did his MBBS from the Govt. Medical College Trivandrum (Kerala University), & Masters ( DLO & MS) from Mysore University in 1990. He started his career in 1991 as a teacher in the Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Subsequently, he was acting as head of ENT Unit III.

Selected to win the ‘Ranbaxy Award’ the National award of the Indian Rhinology society in 1995,

He has a number of Indian and International publications to his credit.

Dr.George is a faculty member at various rhinology workshops, and conferences, both national & international, including the 36th FESS workshop at the University of Graz, Austria, conducted by Prof.Stammberger in 2006.

He performs annual live surgery workshops on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, & Rhinoplasty.

His manual titled’ Functional Endoscopic Rhinoplasty’(FER) was published by Karl Storz, in 2006 from Germany.

He was president of the AOI ( Association of Otolaryngologists of India) Kochi branch in 2008-2009 and is presently the President of the AOI Kerala state 2018-2019.
